Things get real with five stories all rolled into one terrifying movie. Filmed, on you said it, a series of VHS tapes.
V/H/S is an original innovative movie that collapses an anthology of short horror films directed by five separate directors into one film.
It follows a group of petty criminals hired by an anonymous source to retrieve a rare piece of footage in the middle of nowhere. From there they are forced to go through a string of horrifying found footage tapes that are each more terrifying than the last.
The film looks like any other found footage movie but some of the practical and special effects just in the trailer alone really peaks my interest. And the fact that their is five stories in one is also pretty intriguing. Hopefully the stories are just as up to par as I hope and not just another found footage flop.
Let me know what you think. Is this something worth your time or another rip off on a dying genre? Sound off yo. Thanks for reading.
I feel like they should of just watched one of the vhs's and took the rest and watched them in the safety of their houses during the day. Horror films (especially found footage) are just getting sloppily unreal which is interesting but saturated. I think there needs to be more found footage but have them not be horror to expand the genre. Horror is dying because nothing is more horrific then real life.
