THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS TRAILER/RELEASE DATE

By Sean Smyth

This new trailer presented by Quentin Tarantino, puts the "F-U in Kung Fu."

Punching, Kicking, Slicing, Dicing, shooting, smacking, slamming, jumping, sexing, eating, talking, this trailer had it all. Even an a-okay from Tarantino himself.

The film is written by collaborators, RZA (who also marks his directorial debut) and Eli Roth (Cabin in the Woods and Hostel) and stars a pretty stellar international cast led by Mr. Russell Crow and Lady Lucy Lu.

What's it about you ask? Well its basically a story that follows a blacksmith (RZA) as he is forced to make crazy weapons for a series of eccentric clans who fight for control in china. When the battle starts pouring over into the streets and RZA straps on some iron fists and channels an ancient power to defeat these manics.

Deadline reports that the film will be released wide on November 2, 2012 alongside Flight and Wreck It Ralph.

The movie looks crazy entertaining, chalk full of action, humor, and dying. Oh, and if you didn't notice some of these people have special abilities that just look awesome especially considering it is set in 19th century China.  Check it out!

Lets here what you think. Is it worth the look, or does it seem a little to over the top? Sound off below and thanks for reading.

COMPLIANCE TRAILER

By Sean Smyth

A oddly suspenseful and chilling Independent film that will make you try and guess what the hell is going on.

I've watched this trailer twice and I have no idea what to expect in this tension filled thriller, inspired by true events, that feels a bit like a horror film as it keeps building from beginning to end.

The ominous setting of a fast food restaurant and the idea of what would you do in this situation really kicks into high gear as things grow wildly out of control.

It's received some fantastic quotes and I can only imagine to what it will be about with the smoke clears I just hope my intuition is right and this will be one of those movies that will make people talk long after it's over.  I can't wait to see this movie.
Looks creepy right? Let me hear what you think. You willing to give this independent thriller a chance?  As always thanks for reading.

RISE OF THE GUARDIANS GETS ANOTHER TRAILER

By Sean Smyth

The Dreamworks animated movie highlights Jack Frost and the rest of the gang in their brand new trailer.

So, Santa is Russian. Knew it.

Rise of the Guardian's is one of those original ideas that you feel like you've seen already but just can't help but think of how cool the idea is still. Having all our fantastical mythos characters, Santa, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, Sand Man, and Jack Frost, and pitting them against pure darkness just sounds like a good time for people of all ages.

The Trailer sets up the basic plot, Darkness is seeping into the world and the Guardians must protect the children at all costs with the help of the rebel Jack Frost, who looks like a fifteen year old kid.

I'm not sure if I'll be seeing this film in theaters but it has definitely peaked my interest enough to at least check it out if someone pays for my ticket.  Hint Hint.

OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRAILER

By Sean Smyth

Disney takes us on a tornado ride back to OZ in this Wizard Of Oz prequel .

So here it comes, the prequel to the Wizard of Oz, a classic to most. However to me, I haven't seen it since I was a kid, and well the damn flying monkeys used to make me piss my pants. So... I was never a fan.

That being said looking at this new take on the same world it all looks a bit... well animated. It definitely has that Sam Rami/Tim Burton feel, and personally I really don't care to much for the styles of either of them. Except for Spartacus, which is produced by Rami. Rami and Burton love to used sound stages and built sets and green screen like it is the coolest thing in the world, but it really just looks like a hokey animated adventure that so closely resembles Burton's Alice in Wonderland it is distracting. But hey that's my opinion.

I could be dead wrong and the movie could be straight up awesome, with a pretty sweet cast including, James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachael Weisz and Zach Braff. Zach will always have a soft spot in my heart from Scrubs, so that will be one of the few reasons I may go check this thing out.

Well that's my take on this thing, what do you think? You going to see this somewhere over the rainbow, or just let this blue bird fly.  Feel free to comment below. Thanks for Reading.

DARK KNIGHT RISES JOURNEY TRAILER

By Sean Smyth

Relive the journey of one of the greatest trilogies and see how it all ends.

The most anticipated movie of this year or probably the last decade gets another trailer. Only this time it shows us the journey of how Batman gets to where he is today. Spoiler alert: It's a long hard rode.

The trailer has a great ominous tone to it that really speaks to the drama of the visuals, and is packed full of new footage from the movie that really sets the stage to what we will be seeing in only nine short days. Let me tell you, I can't wait to hold my pee for the three hours and some minuets just so I don't miss a second.

ENJOY:

V/H/S TRAILER

By Sean Smyth

Things get real with five stories all rolled into one terrifying movie. Filmed, on you said it, a series of VHS tapes.

V/H/S is an original innovative movie that collapses an anthology of short horror films directed by five separate directors into one film.

It follows a group of petty criminals hired by an anonymous source to retrieve a rare piece of footage in the middle of nowhere. From there they are forced to go through a string of horrifying found footage tapes that are each more terrifying than the last.

The film looks like any other found footage movie but some of the practical and special effects just in the trailer alone really peaks my interest. And the fact that their is five stories in one is also pretty intriguing. Hopefully the stories are just as up to par as I hope and not just another found footage flop.

Let me know what you think. Is this something worth your time or another rip off on a dying genre? Sound off yo. Thanks for reading.
